Journalism
As a journalist, I pitched, wrote and edited hundreds of articles for a local business journal Pacific Business Coast Times. Our consumer was a network of 18,000+ Central California business professionals, and my goal was to help them make informed business and investment decisions. Topics included news, data trends, real estate, technology, current events and economics. Articles were published online, in print and on social media platforms.
At TimesLedger in New York City, I investigated and wrote stories about breaking news, real estate, immigration and human interest. Our print and online circulation was over 125,000 subscribers.

This story is the result of hours of research. I conducted interviews, analyzed letters and 40-page archaeological reports and researched zoning regulations and community board meeting notes. I traveled an hour, attempting to speak to church's pastor in person.
New York City’s first ‘comfort women’ statue remembers sex victims
My article includes historical details as well as the modern controversy over comfort women memorials around the world. My story was showcased by the City University of New York graduate school of journalism as a piece that reflects “the best of community and ethnic media.”
I wrote this story on the five year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. I visited areas affected by the storm to interview passerbyers in their neighborhoods and communities. I took a photo featured in the galleryof a man showing me the watermark on his home.
